How far in advance can I book my event?
GALLERY14 is available to be booked one year in advance of the current year. For example, if you're looking for any date in the next calendar year, you'll be able to book. Standard availability opens on a rolling 12-month basis.
Can I customize and brand the space to match my aesthetic?
Yes — the venue is a blank canvas. You're welcome to bring in your own branding, lighting, staging, and decor to fully tailor the space to your event.
Will the Meatpacking location help my event's visibility?
Absolutely. The Meatpacking District is one of New York's most walked, photographed, and talked-about neighborhoods — a natural stage for brand visibility and organic foot traffic.
How much time is allotted for load-in and load-out?
Standard bookings include dedicated load-in and load-out windows before and after your event slot. Extended access can be arranged for larger productions requiring significant build-outs.
Do you have an exclusive vendor or catering list?
No — we maintain an open vendor policy to give you complete creative freedom. While we can provide a preferred list of trusted local partners, you are welcome to bring in your own caterers and production teams, provided they meet our insurance requirements.
Is alcohol permitted at private events?
Yes. Private events may host and serve alcohol, provided that the caterer or event host secures the requisite event insurance and state liquor permits prior to load-in.
Are there any noise restrictions in the venue?
As a dedicated ground-floor event space, there are no formal noise restrictions, though we ask that production noise remain respectful of the surrounding Meatpacking District community during late hours.
What are the technical and power capabilities of the space?
The venue is equipped for heavy production with 600A three-phase power, commercial-grade HVAC, high-speed Wi-Fi, and professional track lighting throughout the main gallery run.
Is there storage space available during my activation?
Absolutely. The venue includes a dedicated 1,043 sq ft lower-level basement equipped with an on-site bathroom and refrigerator, perfect for back-of-house operations, catering prep, and inventory storage.
Do you offer production or event planning services?
Yes. Full production services are available upon request. Our team can assist with creative direction, structural installation, custom lighting design, and comprehensive day-of event execution.
